Friday, February 22, 2008, Connect Game Inc hosted a business networking event at the Doubletree Hotel located on Mockingbird Lane in Johnson City, Tennessee. Our goal was to bring representatives of local businesses together and allow them an opportunity to brand, promote, and market their company in a casual atmosphere. Furthermore, those in attendance were able to socialize with many owners of small businesses who were looking for public relations venues, and we are happy to say that it was a success for our company as well as others. Since hosting this affair we have been invited to breakfasts, lunches, and dinners that enabled us to discuss our product, and examine the advertising strategies that others have used through trial and error. We feel that as a small business seeking to expand and reach beyond the community, because of knowledge gained through direct interaction with others who share a similar vision, Connect Game Inc. will make positive strides forward. We realize that without our sponsors, Simms Pizzeria and Stir Fry Café, it would have been much more difficult to orchestrate our mixer; additionally, the staff and employees of the Doubletree Hotel went above and beyond their duties to accommodate us, We can not adequately express our gratitude to our sponsors and the hotel management, but we do say “Thank You.” If you weren’t able to attend our last event, we are eagerly anticipating an even larger crowd at our April gathering, so please plan to attend whether you receive a written invitation, phone call, or simply “hear” about it.
